Asia’s phthalic anhydride has dropped more than 100 US dollars per ton due to China’s suspension of purchases in May this year. The benzene anhydride price in Taiwan and Hong Kong is between 800 and 820 US dollars/t (cfr), and the market is expected to be further weakened.
