一、硅谷地区在高科技投资发展方面的主要优势 美国硅谷地区,是指从旧金山往南到圣荷塞之间长达50英里的走廊地带,是美国也是世界最重要的高科技产业区,号称“科技之都”。这里集中了7000多家电子和软件企业,而且新公司正以平均每周11个的速度迅速增长,年产值约2000亿美元。世界最大的100家电子和软件公司中,有20％其总部设在硅谷。该地区是全美劳动生产率最高和出口增长最快的地区,其高科技产品出口量占全美国的1/3。
