M-81E甜高梁是普通粒用高梁的一个变种,饲、粮、糖、能兼用作物。其主要特点是晚熟,全生育期155天,适宜春播。平均株高约3.87米,单穗粒重62克左右,千粒重约21克,产籽量一般在100～400公斤,茎秆产量5000公斤以上,茎秆含糖量高达15％左右,甜似甘蔗,畜禽喜食,以此饲喂猪、牛、羊,增重、出栏快,特别是奶牛,每天可净增鲜奶800～1850克,效益大幅度提高。其栽培技术要点如下:
