To understand the potential for animal-borne Giardiasis transmission, the authors collected samples of Giardia isolates from humans and dogs in the same area and performed PCR on the 292 bp polymorphism at the 5 ’end of the SSU-rRNA gene Amplification and sequencing to understand its genotype provides evidence of genetic characteristics.
