南海北部白云凹陷第四系陆坡具有复杂的陆坡地形特征,发育丰富的深水重力流沉积.基于近海底的高分辨率三维地震资料和成像技术开展陆坡地震地貌及深水重力流沉积过程研究.南海北部第四系陆坡发育规模较大的坡内盆地,属于非均衡陆坡,侵蚀、滑塌以及沉积作用使陆坡趋于均衡.上陆坡位于陆坡均衡面之上,主要以侵蚀和滑塌作用为主,发育滑块和侵蚀水道.坡内盆地位于陆坡均衡面之下,发育的陆坡可容空间为重力流提供大量沉积场所,发育朵体.白云凹陷第四系陆坡受重力流供给量、重力流持续时间、海底地形、陆坡均衡面及可容空间因素影响,发育滑塌-侵蚀水道-朵体沉积体系.陆坡地形对深水重力流沉积过程及沉积体系分布具有重要的影响,深水重力流沉积过程及产物也重新塑造了陆坡地形形态.研究陆坡地形与重力流之间的相互作用有利于预测重力流沉积分布及沉积物品质变化.
