中国高校校训的翻译随着中西方高校交流的剧增,尤其是中国高校对外宣传意识的增强而日益受到重视,翻译中的问题也因此受到越来越多的关注。本文在认真对比中西方高校校训语言特色的基础上,通过对文体功能的比较分析,提出借鉴广告翻译策略能够有效解决校训翻译中的问题,并认为归化的处理原则是解决中国高校校训英译问题的可行方式。
The translation of school motto in Chinese universities has been receiving increasing attention due to the rapid increase of exchanges between universities in China and the West, especially the increasing public awareness of Chinese universities. The problems in translation have also received increasing attention. This article, based on a careful comparison of the characteristics of language training between universities in China and Western countries, puts forward a comparative analysis of stylistic functions and proposes that the use of advertising translation strategies can effectively solve the problems in school instruction translation, and believes that the principle of domestication is to solve the problem of the English translation of Chinese university training. The feasible way of the problem.
