目前油气工业的形势迫使经营者寻求更高的运作效率，同时他们也意识到保护人员、设备、环境安全的重要性日益增长。用于生产现场的安全及生产自动化系统可以满足上述两方面的要求：既满足人员和环境安全方面的需要，又优化生产和减少维护。经验表明，在加工厂、水处理厂和制造厂的操作中采用这种技术获得的好处，在油气工业中同样能够得到，包括生产全过程测试与数据采集的自动化和人力的节省。
The current situation in the oil and gas industry is forcing operators to seek higher operational efficiency, and they are also aware of the growing importance of protecting people, equipment and the safety of the environment. Safety and production automation systems for the production site meet these two requirements: meeting both personnel and environmental safety needs, optimizing production and reducing maintenance. Experience has shown that the benefits of using this technology in the operation of processing plants, water treatment plants and manufacturing plants are equally available in the oil and gas industry, including automation and manpower savings in the testing and data acquisition throughout the manufacturing process.
