It is the first time to use heteropolyacid as catalyst to synthesize the corresponding aryl fatty acids by Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction of aromatic hydrocarbons and their derivatives with unsaturated acids to shorten the synthesis route and avoid the previous non-green AlCl3 catalysis synthesis.
