利用ViewCast软件对铸钢托瓦体两种工艺方案的凝固过程进行数值模拟,预测了缩孔、缩松缺陷产生的位置。通过加大冒口尺寸、改变冒口位置和设置冷铁的方法对初始工艺方案进行了优化。再次模拟表明,改进后的方案使铸件得到了充分补缩,最终消除了缩孔(松)等缺陷。与实际生产相结合,确定了最优方案,得到了合格铸件。
ViewCast software was used to simulate the solidification process of cast-in-place and cast-in-place processes, and the positions of shrinkage defects and shrinkage defects were predicted. The initial process plan was optimized by increasing riser size, changing riser position and setting chill iron. Again, the simulation shows that the improved scheme makes the castings fully filled and finally eliminates the defects such as shrinkage cavity (loose). Combined with the actual production, to determine the optimal program, has been qualified castings.
