With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, the economic environment in which accounting takes place has undergone great changes. Socio-economic development requires that accounting be developed to meet the social requirements for accounting. This paper expounds the concept and characteristics of knowledge economy, analyzes the impact of knowledge economy on accounting, and points out the development trend of accounting in knowledge economy.
