“消费主义”是资本主义经济发展到一定阶段的产物,它一方面刺激了消费,为人们建立一种新的消费观念和生活方式;另一方面,这种新的消费观念也容易使大众产生盲目追求物质消费的社会心理。消费者的消费欲望不断发展,企业和设计师为了满足他们的需求也不得不提供更多更新的产品,从而形成了一个“消费带动生产”的商业模式。对商品进行设计是为了吸引消费,而消费又为设计的发展提供了无限的可能。中国因为经济发展相对滞后,还处于原创设计的起步阶段,设计师们也正努力试图探索出一条适合中国文化的当代设计道路。
