语文学科是以促进人的语言思维发展和语言运用能力为终极目标的人文学科,它特有的人文品格传递着爱国主义的思想、人格的价值观念、人际和谐的思想,小学语文教材中蕴含着很强的民族文化理念和强烈的社会责任观念,在小学语文教学中,充分挖掘极具民族文化精神的审美文化。小学语文是基础应用学科,是最基本的语言训练实践教学,因此,语文教学要传授语文知识,同时要强化语文能力的培养,尤其要用民族文化理念进一步培养学生的健全人格和人文素养。
