由电子工业部激光情报网和中国光学学会情报专业委员会激光情报组于1983年8月9日至14日在哈尔滨联合主持召开了激光情报学术报告会。出席这次会议的有来自全国各有关研究所、高等院校和工厂共55个单位71名代表。会议收到报告27篇。其中22篇按照材料及器件、激光在军事上的应用、半导体激光及光纤和激光应用等四个部分进行了二天半大会交流,接着进行分组座谈讨论。代表们在分组会上进行了热烈的发言。与会代表认为,这次会议正值国家及各单位制订规划之际,会议开得及时,很有必要;另外,科技情报人员能有机会聚在一起交流本专业的国内外情况及科技情报工作 The Laser Intelligence Group of the Ministry of Electronics Industry and the Laser Intelligence Group of the Intelligence Committee of the Chinese Optical Society jointly hosted an academic conference on laser intelligence in Harbin from August 9 to August 14, 1983.
