In this study, the dynamic changes of plasma endothelin (ET) and cardiac amniotic fluid (ANP) in neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) were observed by radioimmunoassay. The concentrations of electrolytes such as serum calcium and sodium were measured simultaneously with normal Neonates were compared. The results showed that the levels of plasma ET and ANP in children with HIE were significantly higher than those in the control group, while the levels of serum calcium and sodium were lower than those in the control group. With the gradual decline of ET and ANP, There was a correlation between the index changes and recovery time, suggesting that ET and ANP participate in the pathophysiological process of HIE. The effect of ET on blood vessels is mainly through the mechanism of calcium regulation. ANP antagonizes the biological effects of ET through calcium antagonism mechanism. Therefore, the increase of ANP may be the manifestation of autophagic regulatory function of body.
