LCD的共面开关(IPS)模式比TN模式的视角要宽,但它需要较高的驱动电压才能达到最高透射率。IPS模式的电-光性质很复杂,现在还不能用分析方法加以阐述。在本文中,用LC连续理论分析了共面开关显示模式的电-光性质,以求在低工作电压下得到最大透射率。
The LCD’s coplanar switching (IPS) mode is wider than that of the TN mode, but it requires a higher driving voltage to achieve the highest transmission. The electrical-optical properties of the IPS mode are complex and can not be elucidated by analytical methods. In this paper, the LC-continuum theory is used to analyze the electro-optic properties of the coplanar switch display mode in order to obtain maximum transmittance at low operating voltages.
