In the late 1980s, VSEL, the UK-based VSN developed by DoD, first built a functional modeling technology based on Yourdon to be used in requirements analysis and systems of the Navy’s combat system design. Since then, these technologies have evolved and have been applied both at the operational and equipment levels due to the increased number of research projects. This paper describes the following: 1. The use of these technologies in research projects in combat systems is introduced, including improvements in tactical weapon systems for “fast” and “Trafalgar” submarines, “avant-garde” class ballistic missile submarines , Future frigate and landing platform dock (substitute). 2, described the current technological development, for example, the development and use of “common model.” 3 outlines how to apply these technologies in areas such as specification, assessment and selection of configuration management and equipment. 4.
