Zn, Cu and Se are essential microelements of the human body. For example, they lack the natural defense system that can cause the development of immune organs and affect the body’s humoral immunity, cellular immunity, complement system and body. Zn, Cu, Se and other deficiencies caused by immune system damage is refolding, by adding the appropriate amount of lack of elements, can make the body’s immune function recovery. Excessive ingestion or replenishment of Zn, Cu, Se also impairs immune function, manifested in response of lymphocytes to mitogens, NK cell activity and antibody production decline. The mechanisms by which Zn, Cu and Se affect immune function are currently under discussion.
