From the 1960s to the early 1970s, the United States and the United States launched fierce competition in the aerospace industry. In order to become a winner in this competition, the former Soviet Union has continuously accelerated the design of spacecraft and increased the frequency of launches, and the safety of astronauts is often overlooked. For the two-cabin spacecraft designed by the Americans, the designers of the former Soviet Union changed the original two-cabin “Society” spacecraft to three cockpits. Du Borovolisky and his two comrades-in-arms must “squeeze in” to this narrow spaceship, and have to give up space suits that take up a lot of space. This practice was immediately opposed by many people including General Kamanin, the assistant commander of the Soviet Air Force. However, Mishin, the chief designer of the “Military”, boasted proudly that “even if the astronauts only wore underpants, they were also a hundred safe.” June 6, 1971, Duborovorysky, Voorgo
