本文首次报道了连续波Ti:Sapphire纵向泵浦主动锁模Yb:S-FAP激光器.实验得到的最短锁模脉宽为35.4ps,通过特殊设计的定态激发光谱实验,我们对它的锁模特性进行了研究,因为从理论上说Yb:S-FAP4nm的荧光线宽应能得到更短的变换极限脉宽.实验结果首次证实了在Yb:S-FAP中存在着多激活中心效应.本文还首次发现了一种新的受激态吸收(ESA)的机制并提出了相应的理论模型.
This paper reports the continuous wave Ti: Sapphire longitudinal pump active mode-locked Yb: S-FAP laser for the first time. The shortest mode-locked pulse width was 35.4ps. Through the specially designed experiment of stationary excitation spectrum, we studied its mode-locking properties. Theoretically, the fluorescence linewidth of Yb: S-FAP4nm should be Get shorter transform limit pulse width. The experimental results for the first time confirmed the existence of a multi-activation center effect in Yb: S-FAP. This paper also found for the first time a new mechanism of excited state absorption (ESA) and put forward the corresponding theoretical model.
