在拉美民族解放运动中，玻利瓦尔的民族主义思想不断充实、丰富、完善，形成了一个完整的民族主义思想体系。归纳起来，主要表现在三个方面（一）顺应历史发展潮流，高举民族独立旗帜，坚决反对西班牙殖民统治。（二）反对封建专制，主张建立中央集权制的民主共和国。（三）为争取和巩固拉丁美洲的独立，始终坚持美洲大陆团结和联合的主张。玻利瓦尔的民族主义思想，在拉美人民争取民族独立的过程中产生过巨大影响，并成为了一个半世纪以来拉丁美洲人民争取独立、自由、民主和团结的旗帜。
In the Latin American National Liberation Movement, Bolivarian nationalist ideology has been continuously enriched, enriched and improved, and a complete nationalist ideology has been formed. To sum up, there are mainly three aspects: (1) Complying with the trend of historical development, holding high the banner of national independence and resolutely opposing the Spanish colonial rule. (2) Oppose feudal autocracy and advocate the establishment of a democratic central republic. (3) In order to strive for and consolidate the independence of Latin America, we must always adhere to the idea of solidarity and unity on the American continent. Bolivarian nationalist thinking has had a tremendous impact on the people of Latin America in their national independence and has become the banner for a Latin American people to win independence, freedom, democracy and unity for the past century and a half.
