在原初宇宙线与大气物质的相互作用中产生的μ子具有很强的地下穿透能力和相当稳定的流强,适合于作地质检测。利用地下μ子方向强度可以做大置物理方面的基础研究和开辟许多重要的实际应用途径。本文简要介绍了μ子物理,讨论在不同研究领域中的应用,特别是在地质和土木建筑“诊断”方面的实际应用。
The muon produced in the interaction between primary cosmic ray and atmospheric matter has strong penetrating ability and relatively stable flow intensity, and is suitable for geological examination. Utilizing the muon direction strength of the subsurface can do the basic research on the physical aspects of Dazhi and open up many important practical applications. This article gives a brief introduction of muon physics and discusses its application in different fields of study, especially in the field of “diagnosis” of geology and civil engineering.
