On May 11th, a special ceremony washeld for commercial production of theTianjin refining and petrochemical integratedcomplex at New Binhai District,Tianjin. The full project which costs aroundRMB34 billion, includes expansion onSinopec Tianjin refinery from 5.5 million t/a to 15.5 million t/a and a new 1 million t/aethylene cracker as well as eight downstreamunits and utilities.
