利用光学浮区法制备了自旋梯子化合物Sr14-xCaxCu24O41(SCCO)系列单晶样品,研究了氧气压对晶体生长的影响和制备条件对晶体性质的影响程度。发现在常压氧气氛下可以制备出Ca含量x小于8的大块高质量的SCCO晶体,但更高Ca含量的样品仍然必须在高压氧气氛下(0.9MPa)下进行。采用XRD,EDX能谱和电阻率测量实验手段对不同条件制备的SCCO单晶样品进行的分析测试表明,不同氧气压制备出的SCCO单晶样品的性质差别较小,但是高压氧气氛更有利于高Ca含量样品的晶体生长。
The spin-ladder compound Sr14-xCaxCu24O41 (SCCO) single crystal samples were prepared by optical floatation method. The effects of oxygen pressure on the crystal growth and the influence of the preparation conditions on the crystal properties were studied. It was found that a bulk high quality SCCO crystal with a Ca content x of less than 8 can be prepared under atmospheric oxygen but samples with a higher Ca content still have to be carried out under a hyperbaric oxygen atmosphere (0.9 MPa). The results of XRD, EDX and resistivity measurement show that the properties of SCCO single crystals prepared by different oxygen pressures are quite different, but the hyperbaric oxygen atmosphere is more favorable Crystal growth of samples with high Ca content.
