自1953年以来,我厂就承制湖南水利建設工程所需要的各种鑄鉄管。特別是以φ2″,3″,4″的承插管生产最多,每日产量在200根以上。因此我厂采用了半永久型立式連續浇鑄的方法进行生产。但是小批生产的鑄管,如φ8″×2,500承插短管,数量在50根以下的,就不能采用立式浇鑄直管那样的工具和设备了。針对这种情况,我厂鑄造技术員李海梅同志設計了一种带轉軸的砂箱,平做立浇的半永久型以适应小批生产。最近生产的鋼錠模也应用这种方法。这种方法生产效率高,一个鑄型每小时可浇铸4根以上;鑄造成本低,一个鑄型可浇鑄500次左右才大修;工具设备簡
