4月21日,蔡国强大型个展“春”在浙江美术馆开幕,这是蔡氏继“农民达·芬奇”之后在内地举办的最大个展。展览极具野心,艺术家用火药在丝绸或麻纸上绘制了西湖、钱江潮、小百花越剧团的青年演员等自然人文景色,犹如一组“江南”赞歌,形成了艺术家的浪漫、火药的暴烈与江南的温柔的三重奏。360度表现西湖全景的《西湖》是蔡国强迄今为止尺寸最大的火药画,作品以“爆破写生”方式在室外现场制作而成。赞助商劳力士表示,蔡国强的火药创作所产生的刹那力量与永恒价值,正与品牌追求走时精准与品质恒久不谋而合。
On April 21, Cai Guoqiang’s solo exhibition “Spring” opened at Zhejiang Art Museum, the largest solo exhibition held in the Mainland after Chua Tsai’s “Peasant Da Vinci”. The exhibition is very ambitious. The artist used gunpowder to draw the natural and cultural scenery of West Lake, Qianjiang Chao and Xiaobaihua Yue Opera Troupe on silks or hemp paper as a group of “Jiangnan ” hymns, forming the artist’s romance, Gunpowder violence and Jiangnan gentle trio. The “West Lake”, a 360-degree panorama of the West Lake, is the largest gunpowder painting by Cai Guo-Qiang to date.
