新中国建国四十年来的书法艺术,经过曲折的发展,自七十年代初期开始,进入了前所未有的全国性的“书法热”阶段。在这股潮流中,最引人注目的,是建国后逐渐形成的新的创作倾向,可称之为当代书法艺术创作倾向。当代书法艺术创作倾向,不仅与建国前和建国初期相比焕然一新,与书法史上任何一个时期相比,也都表现出一种特有的解放意识和个性色形。
Since the founding of New China, the art of calligraphy in the past 40 years has witnessed a tortuous development and has entered an unprecedented stage of “calligraphy hot” since the early 1970s. Among these trends, what attracts most attention is the new tendency of creation gradually formed after the founding of the People’s Republic, which can be called the tendency of contemporary calligraphy creation. The tendency of contemporary calligraphy creation is not only a new look compared with that before the founding of New China and the early Republican China, but also shows a unique sense of liberation and individual color compared with any period in calligraphy history.
