教育学院图书馆信息咨询工作的方向是“适销对路”，就是要在信息咨询工作内容上坚持特色服务，在形式上多样化，讲求效益。信息咨询的工作方式要困地制宜，在改革发展的大前提下，变革传统的思维方式。通过螺旋式发展方式不断提高信息咨询人员的整体素质，使之人尽其才。
