Identity and moral choice have increasingly become the focus of contemporary Western literary criticism. It is in this theoretical context, “others ” almost certain. Become the significant feature of the turn of contemporary ethics thought in the 20th century. Coachel, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, whose literary creations demonstrates the uncertainty of multiple identities and moral choices. Coetzee can not agree with the white identity, do not agree with the South African blacks, he lacks the black survival experience. Coetzee sympathized with the blacks in South Africa, but the reality of violent and revengeful violence by blacks in South Africa in the post-colonial era left him with a reservation on the issue of blacks’ liberation and freedom. In addition, bioethics is hot nowadays and co-exists with Coetzee’s multiple ethics. Coetzee advocates awe of all life, triggering the ultimate consideration of bioethics.
