多年来高温高压蒸气管道的阀门、法兰及汽缸螺栓断裂问题一直威胁着机组的安全运行。1965年我厂螺栓裂纹超声波探伤开始试行,后被列为大修时必须检查的项目。据1967年以来统计,我厂共断裂M30以上螺栓49条,除去装拆或运行中断的以外,其中27条用超声波探伤方法检查发现裂纹。应用这种方法检查螺栓,对于消除设备隐患,防止裂纹造成事故,保证机组安全运行起了一定作用。 M30以上双头螺栓,通常在螺纹最后几扣的根部产生裂纹。检查时,使超声纵波从螺栓端面传入,遇缺陷产生反射讯号,其余大部分能量从底面反射回来。
