Accompanying the speeding up of China’s socio-economic urbanization, the transfer of original floating population in urban areas has also shifted from the original individual migration to a family-based migration, resulting in a gradual increase in the number of floating children in urban areas. In urban areas, migrant children belong to the bottom of the community. They can neither enjoy the equal rights of development and education in the cities with the urban children, but also lose the corresponding social security and rights protection of rural children. Therefore, this article takes migrant children as a starting point and analyzes how to make use of social work to intervene its adaptability through the discussion of its adaptability in urban life.
