Objective To understand the medical staff in Ningbo City, vaccination and vaccination to patients recommended flu. Methods A total of 1 311 medical staff from 20 community health service centers, 20 county-level hospitals and above 11 hospitals and centers for disease control in Ningbo were selected as the survey subjects. The WeChat questionnaire was used to collect the influenza vaccination and to patients The willingness of the vaccine is recommended, and multivariate Logistic regression models are used to analyze the influencing factors of influenza vaccination and recommended intentions. Results The survey showed that influenza vaccination rate was 14.49%, 25.78% were willing to inoculate influenza vaccine, and 79.86% were willing to recommend flu vaccine to patients. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that there was a history of influenza vaccination (vaccination: OR = 4.889, 95% CI: 3.783-6.317; OR = 2.176, 95% CI: 1.553-3.050) Knowledge training (inoculation: OR = 1.448, 95% CI: 1.073-1.9513; recommendation: OR = 2.078, 95% CI: 1.518-2.846) was positively correlated with the willingness to inoculation and the willingness to referral; compared with community health service centers, (Vaccination: OR = 0.515, 95% CI: 0.390 ~ 0.680; recommended: OR = 0.624, 95% CI: 0.445 ~ 0.876) were more reluctant to inoculate and recommend flu vaccine to patients. (OR = 1.751, 95% CI: 1.280 ~ 2.396), the season of influenza vaccination (OR = 1.926, 95% CI: 1.302-2.851), the vaccine was considered safe (OR = 1.917 , 95% CI: 1.368-2.685) Medical staff tended to recommend flu vaccination to patients, while concerns about vaccine adverse reactions (OR = 0.601, 95% CI: 0.401-0.901) would lower the patient’s recommendation. Conclusion The awareness rate of influenza vaccination affects the medical staff’s inoculation and recommended vaccination intention. Training on flu vaccine should be strengthened so as to improve the vaccination rate and recommended rate of influenza vaccination among medical staff.
