Starting from August 6, 2001, 6 × 105 barrels of crude oil are transported daily from the Tengiz field in Kazakhstan to the Black Sea port of Novorossiisk in the Caspian Sea. If all goes well, this 1575km long pipeline will replace rail tankers and increase the oil output of the Caspian Basin. Is it located in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan?
