After ten years of hard work, the Taiwanese information industry has grown into one of the most competitive industries in the world. Last year, the value of its products exceeded 10 billion U.S. dollars, making it the world’s fifth largest producer of information products and playing a pivotal role in the global information industry. However, in the face of high-tech industry competition in the United States, Japan, and Europe, and the gradual formation of regional economies, the Taiwan information industry also deeply felt that relying solely on intra-island forces, it became increasingly difficult to cope with the severe challenges of the times. Only by strengthening cross-Strait high-tech resources exchanges and integration can Taiwan’s information industry break through the bottleneck, and then “knock for a whole day”. It is based on this understanding that the Chinese Taipei Computer Software and Hardware Development Association (CCDA), with the assistance of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Kexing Industry Corporation, has invested heavily in Zhongguan, known as China’s Silicon Valley.
