The authors studied the Orobanche crenata used to treat hematuria in Egypt and described some of the components in the plant. Oral dentition When the aqueous solution of the ethanol extract was successively extracted with petroleum ether, diethyl ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate and n-butanol. The dried ethyl acetate extract was subjected to column chromatography on silica gel, followed by recrystallization from organic solvents to give Crenatoside (I) and acteoside (Ia). The structure of neodymium was determined by chemical methods (acetylation, acid and base hydrolysis) and various spectroscopic methods.
