One writer was proud to write a sensational novel. He reads letters from readers every day and listens to the words of overflowing beauty. He increasingly feels that readers are his friends and he is more satisfied with his own creations. He has thus summed up many successful experiences and he wants to apply them to future writing. After many years, the writer never wrote anything comparable to the first novel. What is the reason? He is always referring to the success of the past, causing him to shirk and not be able to surpass himself. It seems that stepping on success can sometimes lead to failure.
