瓦斯压力反应煤层中瓦斯的赋存状态。根据瓦斯含量计算公式,压力的大小直接影响到煤层的瓦斯含量。瓦斯压力值是判断煤层突出危险性的重要指标,也是采取抽放措施的重要参考依据,因此,准确获取煤层的瓦斯压力尤为重要。而在目前普遍采用的瓦斯压力测定方法中,由于泄压半径以及封孔长度等因素的影响,使得所测得的压力值存在较大误差,不能准确反应煤层中的瓦斯赋存状况。上行超长孔瓦斯压力测定方法的研究,解决了由于法距过短而使得测点处于泄压范围内的问题;同时,采用高压水泥浆堵裂隙和水泥浆封孔能够更好地保证封孔的质量,使得所测瓦斯压力更接近原始值。
