拉美地区是中国台湾“邦交国”最为集中的地区,也是我们在海外开展反“独”促统工作的重点地区,而巴西作为拉美地区“台独”活动的大本营,统、“独”两种势力的竞争和较量更是激烈。其中,具有爱国热情的华侨华人是巴西反“独”促统活动的中坚力量。自20世纪90年代以来他们顶住强大的外部压力和阻力,自发地成立了中国和平统一促进会,并以统促会为核心,以广大侨团为纽带,立足巴西的同时,积极联合区域力量,在巴西展开了一场反“台独”、遏“台独”的斗争,掀起了以“促统一”宣传为核心内容的反“独”促统活动的高潮,发挥了以侨制“独”、以侨促统的重要作用。在今后的反“独”促统活动中,巴西华侨华人需要因地制宜,结合其活动经验,利用自身优势,更大限度地发挥反“独”促统活动的辐射力和影响力,为减少外交空白点、促进中国和平统一大业服务。 The Latin American region is the most concentrated area where China and Taiwan enjoy “diplomatic ties.” It is also a key area for our overseas efforts to promote “unification and independence.” As a base camp for Latin America’s “Taiwan independence” activities, Brazil, “Independent ” two kinds of forces of competition and contest is more intense.
