中国版画与世界版画之间的状况如同经济等方面的状况一样,仍存在着较大的差距。这主要表现在两方面:一是观念方面,改革开放以后,我们虽然已打破了许许多多的精神枷锁,但观念的改变、文化的进步并非一朝一夕就能实现。因此,盲目的自大是很不切合实际的,对未能理解的新潮艺术乱加批评也是无知的表现。西方现代艺术的主流应该是肯定的,不是颓废的,当代新潮艺术也不是胡闹。它们是这个时代文明的必然结果。说实话,在美国的美术馆中,最令我着迷的是现代和当代艺术部分,最能激励我创造热情和抛弃各种尘念
The situation between Chinese printmaking and world printmaking remains the same as that of the economy. There is still a big gap.
