Since the 1980s and 1990s, the “musical understanding” of the Anglo-American analytical philosophies has been a subject of great interest. Scholars have repeatedly pondered on the nature, type and object of music comprehension through abstract thinking, penetrating it with the basic issues of musical aesthetics such as the meaning, form and content of music and have achieved fruitful results. A representative point of view on the “nature of music comprehension” came from the English philosopher Roger Scruton. As early as the early 1980s, he
