我馆近年来由于多种原因,外借量逐年下降。直接影响了读者服务工作。笔者对制约我馆外借的主要因素及如何加强馆际互借工作提出如下看法。 一、制约馆际互借工作的因素 1.随着科学分支越来越细,专业文献的种类连年剧增,任何一个国家或地区,也不可能收集到所有的文献。我们对1993年1至3月份读者填写的455张外借单进行了统计分析,结果竟有37.6％的文献国内未收藏,借到的只有33.4％。 2.我馆馆藏量的增加是外借量下降的根本原因。1986年以前我馆有中外文现刊2000多种1993年我馆的现刊达3000多种。1986年以前读者每周填外借单近100张,而现在的读者总人数大有增加,但每周却
In recent years, due to a variety of reasons, the amount of lending dropped year by year. Directly affect the reader service. The author puts forward the following views on the major factors that restrict the lending of our library and how to strengthen the interlibrary loan. I. Factors Restricting Interlibrary Loan 1. As the branch of science becomes more and more detailed, the types of professional literature have been increasing rapidly in recent years. It is impossible for any country or region to collect all the documents. We conducted a statistical analysis of 455 lending receipts completed by the readers from January to March 1993. As a result, 37.6% of the documents were uncollected in the country and only 33.4% were borrowed. 2. The increase of our library holdings is the fundamental reason for the drop in borrowings. Before 1986, there were more than 2000 kinds of Chinese and foreign languages in our library. In 1993, there were more than 3,000 kinds of articles in our library.
