本刊1990年第1期发表了我的“学好英语的一种方法”一文之后,不久我就收到三位读者的来信。其中一位是自学者,他说我的经验对英语自学者有指导意义,希望我多写这方面的文章。另外两位是大学一年级学生,他们想用我的方法,但是有疑问:用我的方法读得很慢,可是教师强调速度,怎么办?生词记不住怎么办?阅读时要不要分析语法结构?我那篇文章只限于谈自己的经验,未谈及现今的教学方法。现在,为了回答读者提出的问题,我不得不披露自己的教学法观点。
After I published my article “A Way to Learn English Well” in the first issue of 1990, I received a letter from three readers. One of them is a self-educated. He said my experience is instructive to English self-learners and I hope I can write more articles in this area. The other two are freshmen, they want to use my method, but there are questions: Using my method to read very slowly, but the teacher emphasizes speed, what to do? The words can not remember how to do? Do not analyze grammar reading Structure? My essay is limited to my own experience, not to talk about today’s teaching methods. Now I have to disclose my pedagogy point of view in order to answer the reader’s questions.
