现有沥青砼搅拌设备上采用的烘干筒(下称老式烘干筒)均为单层圆筒状,该筒设计为一端高一端低,工作时定向旋转,燃料从筒的低端处喷入筒内并在筒内燃烧,其尾气从筒的高端处排出;冷料从筒的高端处进入筒内被燃气加热,并向低端处移动,最后从简的低端处排出(见图1)。此工况必然存在两种热损失:一是由于筒身与火焰接触后温度高达600~800℃,筒身四周将散失大量的热;二是由于排出的尾气量大,并且温度高达400℃,故尾气将带走大量的热。上述两种散热将导致燃料消耗量很大。
