There are a number of thrusts and volcanic rocks developed in the Carboniferous of Chepaizi area in the Junggar Basin, and structural fractures are developed in volcanic reservoirs. In order to study the fracture distribution pattern of volcanic rocks in the thrust fault zone, taking the Carboniferous volcanic rocks in Chepaizi area for example, the distribution characteristics of the fracture in the longitudinal and in the plane are analyzed. The “centroid” concept of fracture distribution is introduced to quantify The variation of fracture distribution in three-dimensional space is studied, and the fracture distribution pattern of volcanic rocks in thrust zone is proposed. The study shows that there are four types of changes in the spatial distribution of fractures: positive center of mass + large density (type Ⅰ), negative center of mass + larger density (type Ⅱ), positive center of mass + Decrease in density (type III), negative shift in center of mass + decrease in density (type IV). The volcanic fractures in the thrust fault zone have a banded wedge-shaped centroid migration pattern. The characteristics of this pattern are as follows: the distribution of fractures presents a banded shape in the plane; in the longitudinal direction, the fractures distribute in a wedge shape and are affected by volcanic lithology, The distribution range of local cracks becomes larger; the “centroid” of the fracture distribution range will shift under the control of faults and volcanic lithology. The introduction of the concept of “centroid” in the range of fracture distribution can provide a new idea and method for the study of fracture distribution law.
