At present, it is widely accepted that the exhaust emitted by motor vehicles is an important source of lead and carbon monoxide (CO) pollution in the environment. Long-term continuous work in the busy road workers, exposure to higher concentrations of motor vehicle exhaust, can cause occupational hazards, it is worth studying. The authors conducted blood lead and carboxyhemoglobin measurements for 13 workers who worked long hours on the roadside. The 13 workers installed and repaired cables along the road and often crouched in a pit about 3 feet deep without protective masks. In the afternoon on working days for these workers for symptoms inquiry
