英语分级教育之后,高阶学习者已不局限于语言基础的学习,但是由于十几年传统的学习方式,使得他们很多人有着很好的记忆力,但是对问题的思辨能力却不高,无法对材料、观点进行有创造性的评价和批判,同时在表达过程中缺乏逻辑性,言之无物,逻辑混乱。CBI的应用能把学习内容镶嵌在情境中,进而提高学习者的学习动力和学习兴趣。在课堂教学中,教师不再是传统的讲授者,而是指导者、组织者、追问者,同时在课堂中采用追问、质疑等手段激发学习者的创造性思维,同时利用presentation等手段让学习者通过主动学习,提高语言表达的完整性,逻辑性和创造性能力。同时教师也要创造轻松和谐并相互尊重的课堂氛围,以有利于学习者之间的相互协作,相互竞争,以及相互进步。
