Speaking at the 36th Smithsonian Folklife and Arts Festival held in Wisconsin, foreign media said that he is the ancient craft of the Uighur man Hutti Barker who still keeps making mulberry paper and has been called “living fossil in Xinjiang” . Late autumn, I went to visit him. Tuowei · Barker elderly living Taklamakan desert south edge, Moyu County Pu Qia village Buda village. His home is located in the edge of the village road, mottled portal, workshop simple, everything shows a bit old. But this is the only workshop in Xinjiang that makes mulberry paper. At this point, I can not help but awe.
