In the distributed transmitting antenna system, an approximate analytic expression of bit error rate performance is deduced based on Alamouti space-time block coding and BPSK modulation in a circular cell. The theoretical derivation process considers the effects of path loss, shadow fading, single-path Rayleigh fading and background noise.
