刘曼卿是民国时期一位出生拉萨、任职国民政府的、多才多艺的奇女子。1940年1月,刘曼卿女士第二次率“康藏宣传团”进藏,旨在宣传抗日,本文刊载的《西藏纪行》即是她二次进藏之作。她的《西藏纪行》,除了宣传中央抗日政策,还较多着墨于沿途之山川地理、民风民俗等内容,对于研究民国时期中央与康藏地方关系、藏民族在抗日战争中的历史贡献、康藏地理、文化、风俗等有重要的历史价值。
Liu Man-ching was a versatile and wonderful woman born in Lhasa in the Republic of China who served as the government of the nation.
