在不断上升的成本及巨大新兴市场潜力面前,跨国公司的技术优势和全球资源不一定会顺利地转化为优势,它们选择以创新作为突破口。由上海美商会与博斯公司(Booz&Company)联合发布的最新中国制造业竞争力研究显示,在日渐上升的成本压力下,在华跨国制造业公司阵营开始出现分化——计划将制造业务迁往中国国内成本更低的区域或印度、越南等其他亚洲新兴国家的企业数量在明显增加;同时以占领中国本土市场为主要战略的跨国公司的数量也在显著增长。
In the face of rising costs and the potential of a huge emerging market, the technological advantages and global resources of transnational corporations are not always translated into advantages. They choose to take innovation as a breakthrough point. A recent study by China AmCham-China and Booz & Company on China’s manufacturing competitiveness shows that under the pressure of rising costs, the multinational manufacturing companies’ camps in China began to split - plans to relocate their manufacturing operations to China The number of enterprises in lower-cost domestic regions or other emerging Asian countries such as India and Vietnam has also risen sharply. Meanwhile, the number of multinational corporations that dominate the Chinese domestic market has also increased significantly.
