蔡邕(yōng)是我国东汉末年有名的文学家和音乐家。有一回,蔡邕路过江边,看见有人在烧水。忽然,他闻到柴火堆中散发出一种特殊的梧桐的香味,他走到跟前仔细一看,里面果然有一块上好的梧桐木。于是,他赶紧把这块木头从火中抽出来,连扑带打把火熄灭。后来他把这块木头带回了家,亲手雕成了一把七弦琴,琴尾正好是烧焦的地方,因而取名“焦尾琴”。到今天,这把琴成为中国音乐史上四大名琴之一。 Cai 邕 (yōng) is a famous writer and musician in the late Eastern Han Dynasty in China. Once, Cai 邕 passing the river, saw someone in the water. Suddenly, he smelt a special smell of Sycamore in the firewood heap, and when he came to look closely, he really had a good Sycamore wood. So, he hurriedly took the piece of wood out of the fire, even with a flutter to extinguish the fire. Later, he took the piece of wood back home and hand-carved it into a lyre. The piano tail was exactly a charred place, hence the name “the end of the piano.” Today, this piano has become one of the four famous Chinese musical history.
